THIS IS Little Em’s first trip to HK Disneyland, We had gone there before without her as she was too young to enjoy the trip anyway. (OK, confession… I went there to be a kid myself, so I wasn’t willing to take care of another kid! But we finally performed our parental duty and took her there on this date in 2010, making this her first and last trip too!)
At the entrance of Hong Kong Disneyland.
We began our magical moments in Fantasyland… (Top) Sleeping Beauty Castle; (Bottom, R) Papa failed to remove the Excalibur.
The things we do for our kids… go on the Flying Dumbo ride, a pony ride on Cinderella’s Carousel and even hop into Mad Hatter teacup and get spun around.
Still in Fantasyland… The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
(L) Looking cool in those 3D glasses (for Mickey’s PhilharMagic); (R) The kids waiting to hop onto the train.
WHAT!!! A train to California??? It was a long ride, so little Em took a nap!
Little Em woke up in Tomorrowland and stepped into the future, ready to join Buzz Lightyear battle aliens.
It’s a Small World … that appeals to people “small” and “big” 🙂
Caught two live parades… Walt Disney characters and High School Musical.
In Adventureland… Skipped Tarzan’s treehouse but hopped onto the Jungle River Cruise and watched the Lion King’s musical performance.
Magical moments with Disney’s characters – Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Winnie and Pluto.
On Main Street USA, one finds the Ragtime Piano taken earlier in the day; Main Street at night.
Little Em waved goodbye to Tomorrowland; after catching the 8pm fireworks at Main Street USA, it was back on the Disney train to the Sunny Bay MRT station, for home.
Two days later, Little Em met some of the Disney characters again when we lunched at Disneyland Hotel. (link)
PS. My sister and I saw Paris Disneyland on a rainy day in February 1996. In 1999, hubby and I had a fabulous time in Florida’s Disney World.
