THIS WAS THE THIRD time… packing and moving across the continent, this time to return home. The packers took two days to complete the task (which is normal) of boxing up “our lives” into some 200 boxes – big, small and flat.
I felt a little “empty” when the boxes were finally taken away, yet relieved that the major task had been accomplished (after many many MANY sleepless nights). At least, after that I was able to sit back and enjoy our final days in this “little” island that gave us vast memories to look back on (and cry some more!)
Little Em thought packing was fun, till she realised all her toys were gone!!!

We returned “home” one last time on 6 Oct to check the mailbox, and with the house keys in hand, we might as well just go in one last time!

A final look out of the window of the view that greeted us every morning.
M pointing to a building near home which is also a place “close to our hearts”… that was where Little Em was born.
